Hyderabad: With the nation witnessing massive protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC), and National Population Register (NPR), various social organisatoins and activists are following suit.
Speaking to Siasat.com Mrs. Sandhya, President of the Progressive Organisation for Women (POW) said, “Protests against CAA-NRC-NPR across the country have taken the shapes of a movement, therefore we cannot them only as protests. Not only are Muslims fighting against the CAA-NRC-NPR as almost all of India opposes it. Even others should join this movement to save the nation and the constitution.”
She further says that though there Hindu majority in India, it loves to live with Muslims with whom they have brotherly relations. The CAA-NRC-NPR is the RSS’ and BJP’s way of turning a secular country into a Hindu one.
The POW President also implored the government to focus on education and literacy of India. Both have been decreasing day by day due to the BJP’s saffronization of the education system.
