HYDERABAD: More than 100 students from Hyderabad Central University (HCU) have been detained by police ahead of their protest march with Left parties in Hyderabad.
The detained HCU students taking the protest against the impending NRC and Citizenship Amendment Act.
The bus in which the students were traveling was on the way to Exhibition ground in Nampally was stopped by police.
The students then moved to the Moinabad police station.
The students were demanding rollback of the unconstitutional Citizenship Amendment Act.
