COVID-19 scare: TS cab drivers switch trade open stores

Hyderabad: Lockdown and Coronavirus scare in the state is driving Hyderabad cab operators out of buisness. Hit hard by the lockdown, Ola and Uber drivers have switched trade and opened grocery stores or started selling vegetables or mangoes.

While Ola and Uber resumed their operations earlier this month, drivers allege that their working ID’s have been blocked by the companies and they are being forced off the road by aggregators for not renewing motor vehicle documents, and their fitness certificates.
