Election of CLP leader and PCC chief inTS

HYDERABAD: After the defeat Congress face in Telangana in recently held Assembly election, the attempts to occupy the Congress legislator and party leader and state president have increased.

It is reported that in case Captain Uttam Kumar Reddy gets elected as the Congress Legislator party Chief, the post of PCC president could be given to any other leader.

A meeting was scheduled to be held on 16 January in Hyderabad for the selection of CLP but the Central observer Mr Venuopal has an important meeting in Bengaluru on the same day.

It is expected that Mr, Venugopal will be able to reach Hyderabad only on 17th January.

It is reported that the name of Sreedhar babu is being considered for the chairman of public accounts committee.

It is also likely that the names of the Congress candidates for the Parliamentary election will be announced soon.
Congress high command instructed the leaders not to visit New Delhi for exerting pressure to get party tickets.
