A senior journalist from North India claimed that the exit polls shown on a TV Channels were obtained from a company which itself invests money in gambling. There are two companies which work for BJP at the grassroot level. It is, therefore, difficult to take these exit polls as genuine. These companies have also claimed on Youtube that the results of the exit polls might change altogether since it could be a strategy to save gambling market from loss so that the loss occurred to the investors could be compensated.
Another senior Journalist who is associated with a noted media organization told that it is also possible that the elections held in India in seven stages have the importance of the voters since these voters don’t reveal their intentions.
Both the journalists opined that the persons contacted during the survey are less in number.
It may be mentioned that most of the exit polls predicted that Mr. Modi will get the majority.
