Hyderabad: Department of police issued show-cause notice to former Secretary/Director Urdu Academy Mohammed Abdul Waheed IFS retired for publishing children’s magazine ‘Raushan Sitare’ without RNI’s permission.
Joint Commissioner of police special branch Hyderabad issued the show cause notice which stated that M A Waheed published Raushan Sitare magazine in the month of June and July on behalf of Urdu Academy without taking permission from RNI, New Delhi. With this, the publisher has violated Press and Regulation of Books Act 1867 and RNI Rules, New Delhi.
