Giriraj Singh stresses on law over Population control

New Delhi: Union Minister, Mr. Giriraj Singh said that there is the need of law over ‘population control’. He also said that the absence of such a law may trigger a civil war.

In support of population control, women workers of ‘Population Solution Foundation’ took out march from India Gate.

Addressing the workers, Mr. Singh said that increasing population is a big problem. He claimed that the real population of India is around 150 crore.

Stressing the importance of population control law, Mr. Singh said that until it is enacted, neither the youths will be able to get proper employment nor the citizens will be able to fulfill their basic needs.

Talking over the issue, Mr. Anil Chowdary, President of the ‘Population Solution Foundation’ said that increasing population is responsible for illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, etc.

The foundation demands to introduce a two-child policy.

It may be mentioned that in support of population control, on 9th August 2018, a letter signed by 125 Parliamentary members was handed over to the President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind.
