At the prestigious XII Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Shooting Championship, Telangana shooter Abid Ali Khan shone with a gold medal.
Abid Ali Khan was the winner of the 50m Rifle Prone Junior Men ISSF event held on Wednesday in New Delhi.
He faced stiff competition from Gohil Harshrajsinhji (Gujarat) who has shown consistency till the end. However, Khan played an outstanding game and topped the list with 620.5 points.
Amit Sanghi, president of Telangana Rifle Association congratulated and appreciated Abid Ali Khan for winning the medal.
Sanghi, one of the national best shooters also wished him success for the upcoming competitions.
Leading shooters from across the country participated in the shooting championship.
