Hyderabad: Sleuths of Special Operations Team, (SOT), LB Nagar Zone Team of Rachakonda busted Hawala Money Transfer Racket operating from Raipur, Chattisgarh, and apprehended one accused and seized Rs 70 lakh, Jacket, two Mobile phones from the possession of accused.
Police said accused were identified as Chandrakanth Varma, 33, a worker in Diamond Jewellery, Jubilee Hills, residing at Beerbanbagh, Nayi Basti, Begum Bazar and Kotti Chandraprakash of The Diamond Store, Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills, who was absconding.
The accused person along with the seized property were handed over to SHO, Neredmet police for taking further action.
