Hyderabad: 13 YO faints in class, dies during treatment

Hyderabad: A class IX student reportedly succumbed hours later while undergoing treatment after he suddenly fell unconscious in his school at Owaispura.

The 13-year-old boy identified as Mohammed Aman a student of Tulasi high School suddenly fell unconscious in class on Thursday around 3.15 pm. The school authorities immediately informed Aman’s father Mohammed Ayub.

“The school management said the boy became unconscious in the class. Aman’s father rushed him to a local hospital. He died while undergoing treatment at 11.15pm,” Humayun Nagar sub-inspector (SI) D Satyanarayana said, TOI reports.

The exact reason for Aman’s death is yet to be curtained as no external injuries were found on him said the police .

“We checked with school staff to see if Aman sustained any injuries in a fight with other students or if accidentally suffered any injuries. Students and school management said no such incidents had occurred. We have to wait for autopsy report to know the cause of death,” the SI said.

Aman’s uncle Mohammed Arshad Ahmed said the school management informed them that the boy became unconscious in the class and later he died while undergoing treatment.

“As soon as the school staff called, Aman’s father Ayub rushed to the school. We rushed him to Virinchi Hospital and from there he was transferred to Rainbow Hospital, Banjara Hills. There were no injuries on the body and Aman did not have any health problems. We do not know the reason for the death,” Ahmed told.

A case was registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC by the Police.
