Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi appeals to Excise Department

Hyderabad: Expressing objecting to the opening of a liquor shop near a school at Langer Houz, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has appealed to the Excise Department.

Mr Owaisi responded to a memorandum submitted by the school parents to stop the opening of a liquor shop near the school, Hans reports.

In his letter to Excise Department, Mr Owaisi requested the officials to withdraw the shop inauguration.

Mr Owaisi also further warned to stage a protest if the opening is not withdrawn.

The AIMIM chief also added that several ministers and officials have already submitted a memorandum to the department not to set up liquor shops near schools and also to shut them.
