Hyderabad: Social activist, Syed Wasif Hussain and others lodged a complaint against Shia Wakf Board Chairman, Waseem Rizvi for making derogatory remarks.
It may be mentioned that earlier, Rizvi had made derogatory remarks against the Lucknow women participating in the anti-CAA rally.
In a video message, he said that the protesting women are of bad character and they are spoiling the peaceful atmosphere of Lucknow. He can be heard saying ‘bad kirdaar Aurtien jo paisa lekar dharna pradarshan aur dusre kaam bhi karti hain’
Reacting on the remarks, Hussain demanded City Police to register a case against Rizvi for ‘outraging the modesty of women’.
Commenting on Union Government’s slogan ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’, he said that such persons are the threat to the life and modesty of every woman.
