Hyderabad: Many complaints have been filed against the News18 TV anchor Amish Devgan for allegedly making derogatory comments against Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisty, Ajmer during a debate programme.
After the outrage, criminal complaints are being filed acoss the country against Amish Devgan, in Hyderabad too dozens of compliants have been filed in various police stations.
On Wednesday, Muttahida Majlis-e-Mashaaikh, a group of religious scholars and heads of Dargahs, have filed a complaint with the Police Commissioner Hyderabad, Anjani Kumar. The delegation sought strict acation against the News18 TC Channel Amish Devgan for using highly objectionable and derogatory words against Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisty, whose srhine is at Ajmer Rajasthan.
Complaints were also filed at Rein Bazaar, Bahadurpura and Zaheerabad police stations in Telangana.
