Hyderabad: Both the Telangana Minorities Commission and AIMIM took part in annual flag-raising ceremonies on Independence Day.
Mohammed Qamaruddin Chairman Telangana Minorities Commission, Dr Hafiz Muzaffar Hussain Khan (scholar, philanthropist, social worker), Dr Hafiz Mohd Sabir Pasha Qadri (Imam of the Haj House Masjid) and Hafiz Mastan Ali hoisted the flag at Moghalpura.
From the MIM, President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Mohammed Ilyas Bukhari raised the flag in Medina Circle.
