Hyderabad: Commissioner’s Task Force South Zone Team and Kanchanbagh police nabbed a habitual pickpocket, who targets commuters in RTC buses, here on Friday.
Officials recovered valuables worth Rs. 4.15 lakh. The arrested was identified as K S Dharam (40), a labourer by profession and a resident of Afzalsagar in Mallepally, Hyderabad.
The police said that Dharam was involved in more than 25 cases of pickpocket in various police stations including Sultan Bazaar, Shahinathgunj etc, and was absconding since 2014. He was jailed several times. Following his release from jail, he continued to commit thefts.
