Hyderabad: There is a proposal to provide Metro Mobility Cards for commuters. This will be implemented after the completion of the second phase of Metro Rail Project in December this year.
It saves commuters’ time
This common travel ticket card will be named as ‘Metro Mobility Card’. It can be used for travelling on MMTs, City RTC buses, auto rickshaws and taxi cabs without taking tickets. The cards will be valued at Rs. 2000. It will have the facility of recharging.
Queues can be avoided
It will save the time of the commuters who stand in queues to get tickets. It is reported that special software has been developed on the lines of Smart Cards. This will be made available at Metro Rail Stations, City bus stations and SBIs.
