Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar visited the south zone flood-affected areas and advised to the public, not to panic. The Heavy rains left floodwater in many places such as Chandrayangutta, Falaknuma and its surrounding areas.
Commissioner said that they had rescued those trapped in the floods and evacuated them to safer areas.
A six-foot pit fell on the Falaknuma Bridge. With this, we are putting barricades and taking steps to prevent the public from going that way. We are rescuing those in flood-prone areas with the coordination of GHMC officials.
