Hyderabad: A 48-hour protest is scheduled to be held at Darulshifa Ground against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), 2019, National Register of Citizens and National Population Register. In the protest meeting, women will express their views against the controversial laws.
This protest meeting will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 25th January.
Protest in Lucknow
Inspired by the women-led agitation in New Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, women in Lucknow started an indefinite sit-in protest at Gomti Nagar’s Shaheed Turkmaan-e-Hind Mazar against the laws.
The protest in Shaheen Bagh has gained nationwide attention as women have been braving Delhi’s cold winter for over a month against the controversial law enacted in December last year. The protestors belong to all groups.
Protests in Hyderabad

Recently, two massive protests, Million March and Tiranga Rally were held. In these protests, thousands of people participated to raise their voice against the laws.
