New Delhi: Indian overseas Congress, Telangana condemn the Citizens Amendment Act and hope that the judiciary will take Suo moto notice of this very discriminatory act towards Muslim citizens. BJP under the leadership of Modi has been continuously tarnishing the image of India.
India will be always secular and citizens of the country will not fall trap to Hindutva extreme ideology imposed on them. We appeal to all the concerned political parties, organizations, civil society to stand up against this extremism perpetrated by saffron brigade who Is currently at the helm of affairs of India.
The international community is also taking a close look of series of events perpetrated by this home minister from handling Kashmir Issue, violation of human rights in various parts of India. Since BJP under Modi took over, the image of Gandhian India is purposely tarnished which is shocking as the world knows India for its Gandhian principles of nonviolence. We urge upon the prime minister of India to be the prime minister of every citizen residing in India not just the majority community and look for the welfare of all under the oath he took under the constitution of India. India will stand tall amongst the world only by its principles of secularism, nonviolence and equal treatment of its citizens.
We appeal to the media fraternity to rise above narrow gains of thumping up BJP and look out to defend the constitution of India by showing their activism. Its high time for each section of society to stand up for India.
