Hyderabad: Challenging Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to make his stand clear on Citizenship Amendment Act, BJP National Executive member Nallu Indrasena Reddy said that the TRS chief is hiding behind a veil and fielding the other party leaders to speak on the CAA.
Addressing the media here on Friday, BJP leader asked, “Does the TRS chief want to give citizenship to those Muslims, who have illegally crossed into the country from Pakistan and Bangladesh?” Hans India reported.
He claimed that not knowing why they are opposing the Act, TRS is opposing the Act as AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is opposing it. He said BJP is against giving citizenship to those Muslims, who have illegally entered into the country.
Indrasena Reddy urged the chief minister to spell out his stand that he is in favour of granting citizenship to illegal immigrants residing in the old city.
