Dubai: A vessel carrying 284,000 litres of diesel was seized by Iran’s coast according to news agency ISNA.
The vessel was allegedly smuggling fuel in the Gulf along with 12 crew members from the Philippines detained, News18 reports.
The Islamic nation is currently fighting rampant fuel smuggling to neighbouring countries and Gulf Arab states are frequently seized.
