JAC changes women protest date, MIM shifts protest meet place

A 48-hour women-protest was scheduled to be held at Darulshifa Ground against CAA, NRC and NPR. This protest was supposed to start on January 25, at 11 am and end on January 26, at 6 pm.

Now the Joint Action Committee convener, Mushtaq Malik, has announced in a press conference that due to election court on 25 January, 2020, the protest date is postponed.

Now, the 48-hour women-protest is scheduled to be held at Darulshifa Ground on 27 December, Monday at 11 am.

The JAC convener, appealed all the women of Hyderabad to take part in the protest and make it successful like Million March.

Meanwhile, All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief, Asaduddin Owaisi has announced that a huge public meeting which was scheduled to be held at Charminar on January 25, now it will held at Khilwat Ground.

He also announced that at midnight he will unfurl the national flag and recite the national anthem to mark the Republic Day.

He tweeted: Police rejected permission for protest meeting at Charminar, they’d advised us to instead move it to nearby KHILWAT GROUND which we’ve accepted.
