Kidnapped trader’s dead body stuffed in bag, found in Hyd

Hyderabad: Sensation prevailed in Jubilee Hills area tonight after a stuffed dead body of a kidnapped fish trader was found in residential home. The 45 year old P Ramesh mysteriously went missing on February 1, from his residence.


Police SR Nagar have registered a case under “man missing” and issued Look Out Circulars to trace the missing person. While so on the family members of Ramesh started receiving whatsapp messages from unknown persons claiming to be the kidnappers.


Later the kidnappers demanded a ransom of ninety lakh rupees from the family members, upon which negotiations were initiated with the kidnappers. But on Tuesday night Jubilee Hills police received an information about a decomposed deadbody stuffed in a bag, a team of police reached the crime scene and CLUES team was also pressed into service.

“It’s a pre-planned murder, we have certain clues in the case and police teams have started working out on it” said DCP West Zone A R Srinivas.


The police later confirmed that the deadbody of the unknown person is of kidnapped trader Ramesh, the police SR Nagar have shifted the deadbody to the Gandhi Hospital for conducting postmorterm. The police have registered a kidnapping and murder case and a hunt has been launched to track the assailants.  Police are suspecting the role of one Srinivas and his associates behind the murder.
