Lady vet doctor set ablaze

Hyderabad: These days the incidents of setting women ablaze are on the increase. In one such incident which occurred yesterday in the vicinity of Chitanpally village of Shadnagar Mandal of Mahboob Nagar District.

According to the report of the police, a dead body was found under the National Highway Bridge in suspicions condition. The deceased is identified as a veterinary  doctor.

As per the details of the incident, last night, she went to the Hitec city, Madhapur for some work. At 9.30 p.m. near Shamsabad Toll Plaza, her scooty got punctured. Meanwhile, a youth took her scooter under the pretext of getting it repaired.

The doctor talked to her younger sister on cell phone and expressed her inhibitions that the youth who had taken her scooter had not come back by then. Her younger sister advised her to park the scooter near toll plaza.

Later, when her younger sister tried to contact the doctor, her phoned was switched off.

Yesterday morning, police found the burnt dead body of the woman. The matter was brought to the notice of Mr. Prakash reddy, DCP of Shamsabad.

On preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the doctor was the native of Narsonalipally village of Kollapur Mandal in Mahboobnagar District.

At present, she was residing at Shamsabad.

Talking to media persons, DCP told that the culprits will be arrested soon.

Police registered a case and handed over the body of the deceased to her relatives.
