Hyderabad: Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) made predictions ahead of Lok Sabha Poll Results.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, he said that regional parties will perform better. He claimed that for nearly 300 Lok Sabha seats, candidates belonging to local political parties will be major contenders.
Dismissing the rumours that YSR and TRS may support BJP after the declaration of Lok Sabha poll results, Mr. Owaisi said that for YSR, Special Status to AP is the priority and TRS is interested in federalism.
Mr. Owaisi also criticized Mr. Modi’s statement. Earlier, PM had said that 40 MLAs of TMC were in contact with him.
AIMIM President alleged that the central government has weaken democratic institutions of the country.
