Hyderabad: A Civil Court in Malkajgiri pronounced three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 10,000 for cheating a person with a promise of getting him a house.
According to the details, Samyanand, a resident of ECIL colony contacted D. Pharma reddy (38) who showed him a house whose owner resides in Bengaluru. Mr. Samyananad showed interest in purchasing this house. Dharma Reddy got a fake sale agreement and collected Rs. 5 lakh as a token amount from Samyanand. Later, he also collected Rs. 22 Lakh.
Dharma Reddy was not registering the house in his name. He was also not repaying the money which he had a collected from him.
Samyanand lodged a complaint against Dharma Reddy.
Kushaiguda Police registered a case and filed the charge sheet after investigation.
