Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man was killed on the spot when a speeding mini-truck rammed his motorcycle at Medchal on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Gandra Ramesh Rao, a private employee from Bolarum working at Sri Sai Core Containers at Muppireddypally. Police said the mishap occurred while Gandra Rao was returning home from work. As he was passing by a service road, a DCM truck driver heading in the same direction rammed Rao’s bike from behind, killing him on the spot. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
