Hyderabad: Rachakonda police arrested the man who had killed a woman who was her neighbor.
Kandukpar police reported that after killing Balamani (80), the accused had dumped her dead body in front of her daughter’s house.
Rachakonda police arrested Manji (36) for killing the woman.
It is reported the accused works as a security guard. He is a resident of Sai Ragiguda.
On 27th January, he offered Balamnani a drink and later, he strangled her throat and killed her.
According to the report of the police, Balamani was the friend of the mother of the accused.
Manji had taken to drinking and he used to commit thefts.
Vexed with the bad habits of Manji, his wife had left the house seven years back.
In order to meet his expenses to buy liquor, he took away the gold ornaments of Balamani and killed her.
Police seized 6 tolas gold and 10 tolas silver ornaments from his possession which are estimated be of the value of Rs 1.23.00/-
Police registered a case and started the investigation.
