Lucknow: Amidst ongoing controversy and tension in Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama regarding Maulana Salman Nadwi, the rector of the institution Maulana Syed Mohammed Rabey Hasani Nadwi broke his silence. In a short emotional speech addressing the students on Tuesday, Maulana Hasani told that Maulana Salman Nadwi is like his own child. He hinted that despite rumour and gossiping, the Nadwa administration does not consider the matter as grave as to take action against anyone.
On the other side, Maulana Salman Nadwi also spoke to students in which he pleaded innocence and called for immediate solution of the problem.
Maulana Rabey Nadwi said Maulana Salman is his close relative and is like his own child. He urged students not to get provoked.
Later, addressing the students for nearly 40 minutes, Maulana Salman said Maulana Rabey Hasni is his maternal uncle and said he respects him a lot.
