Speaking at a joint press conference, Pracha demands roll back of CAA and resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

He said the team of advocates have pledged to file writ petitions against police officers engaged in atrocities against innocent protestors. The senior advocate said they had proof against such police officers.

Mehmood Pracha also informed that they have set up Samvidhan Suraksha Samiti (Committee for the protection of the constitution) to continue their struggle against the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Chandrashekhar Azad, the founder president of the Bhim Army, is the convener of the committee and Pracha is the co-convener of newly constituted body.
