Ahmedabad: In yet another shocking incident a two-and-half-year girl was abducted and raped by an unidentified man in the city outskirts of Ahmedabad, Police sources said today.
According to reports, the minor went missing on Saturday after which a police hunt lead to her on Sunday said Assistant Commissioner of Police VG Patel.
She was living with her family in a shack by the of Bopali-Ambli Road.
“A medical examination revealed she was raped after which a rape and abduction case was registered against an unidentified person on Sunday at Sarkhej police station. The girl’s parents are labourers,” he said.
The officer said CCTV footages have revealed they found one suspect moving suspiciously in the area.
Further probe is underway.
