Multinational companies should reduce the cost of technology used for water says Dana Kishore

Hyderabad: The multinational companies working on water utilities should reduce the cost of technology of cost to enable their technology at low cost for the countries suffering from water-stressed across the globe- Dana Kishore. A programme on “Solving water utility Challenges” was organized by XYLEM at hotel Taj Deccan on Monday.

While addressing the gathering Managing Director of HMWSSB (Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board) M. Dana Kishore said, “Solving Water utilities challenges are plenty in various formats aging infrastructure, non-revenue water, wastage of water, where the technology is required.

The cost of operating strategy has to be reduced by multinational companies. He also spoke about water management challenges and solutions by giving examples of water-stressed countries and their efforts to overcome the problems.”

Dr. Uday Kelkar spoke on the paradigm of water transport and treatment technologies M.L. Prasanna Kumar, Chief General Manager of HMWSSB spoke on water scarcity in cities and mitigate using water bodies. H.Bala, MD Xylem India has stated that the programme is aimed to provide a platform to collaborate and deliberates on various subjects relevant to Hyderabad city.
