Hyderabad: On this special day scrumptious buffet of cake made of ragi and rice decorated with fruits vegetables sprouts and corn is laid for the elephants along with sugar crane, pineapple, Jaggery, Coconut and green grass, the cakes are prepared by the animal keepers and incharge of the elephants.
Currently Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad is housing 5 Elephants (1 Male and 4 Female) including the senior veteran Rani 82 years old.
