New Book: Unilateral Decisions Bilateral Losses

NEW DELHI: Recently released book, “Unilateral Decisions Bilateral Losses” assess the impact of the face-off between India and Pakistan in 2019, on border economies.

The new book authored Afaq Hussain and Nikita Singla of Director, Bureau of Research on Industry and Economic Fundamentals (BRIEF) attempt to understand trade in terms of the dependence of border economies.

The book details the socio-economic impact of trade suspension, assessed through field research in Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab. 

Any form of border trade creates its own economic ecosystem and emotional capital.
