Hyderabad: The list prepared by Collector of Hyderabad exposes that out of 3452 wakf properties, 977 have disappeared. This has been informed by the Collector of Hyderabad, Ms. Yogita Rana to Wakf Board. This situation has been created due to the non-cooperation of Wakf Board with Revenue Dept.
It is reported that most of the Wakf properties from Charminar, Bahadurpura and Asif Nagar have disappeared from wakf records.
CM of TS, Mr. KCR had issued orders for sealing the records section of Wakf Board last month. Ms. Yogita Rana stopped taking action due to political pressure.
