“Aamil” set on fire by burqa-clad woman

Chennai: In a shocking incident, an “Aamil” was set on fire by a burqa-clad woman. This incident took place on Monday.

According to the report published in TOI, the woman committed this crime in the office of the victim which is located opposite Big Mosque in Triplicane, Chennai.

As per the details furnished by the police, on Monday at 8 p.m., the accused entered the office of the victim, Syed Fazruddin (60) along with around five women devotees and then committed the crime. She threw an unknown chemical at the “Aamil” and set him ablaze.

He was rushed to hospital. After two hours, he breathed his last.

It may be mentioned that a businessman by name Mani made an attempt to catch the accused but she managed to escape.

The Triplicane police registered a murder case and started investigation. It is suspected that it was a planned crime.
