New Delhi: Addressing the Quran Conference 2018, Director Yemeni Quran Centre, Dr Mohammed Aslam Parvaiz said Muslims have limited Islam to some worships while the fact is doing a favour and being polite is also a form of worship. He said we follow a part of the Quran and leave a part of it. He added abandonment of Quran is the major cause behind Muslims’ misery in today’s world.
A number of international scholars of Islam gathered at the Quran Conference 2018. The renowned U.S.-based scholar Aslam Abdullah and the Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Azad Urdu University Dr M Aslam Parvaiz were among the host of luminaries who participated in the meeting.
The conference aimed at promoting inter-faith harmony. Dr Aslam Parvaiz emphasized that Quran is a book for all, not just Muslims as is widely but erroneously believed.
Dr Aslam Abdullah urged the Muslims to implement the whole Quran in their lives.
Zeeshan Sara from Hyderabad also addressed on the occasion.
