Adilabad: A couple in Adilabad’s Batisavargaon village were run over by train which the police suspects is a suicide case after the couple’s parents refused to give their consent for the duo’s marriage.
According to the Adilabad Rural Inspector Purushottam the deceased couple identified as Mukesh (24), a driver from Dubbaguda and Kalyani (19), a degree student both residents of Tailor’s colony in Batisavargoan village, Adilabad took the extreme step after their parents refused to give consent for their marriage.
The Police says it was learned from the sources that Mukesh was thrashed by the girl’s father, a police constable.
Mukesh and Kalyani reportedly fell in love with each other few months back. Kalyani’s parents had refused to marry their daughter to driver Mukesh who did not belong to their caste. It was after that the duo decided to commit suicide reports Telangana Today.
