Anand Mohan Zutshi laments upon the communalism & violence in India through parody of ‘Saaray Jahan Se Achha’

The veteran Urdu poet Anand Mohan Zutshi ‘Gulzar Dehlvi’ revisits “Saaray Jahan Se Achha” written by Allama Iqbal. In the parody of Allama Iqbal’s famous poem Saare Jahan se Achha Hindustan Hamara’, the 91 Years old Kashmiri Pandit laments upon the pathetic situation of communalism and violence in India. He condemns the killings in the name of religion and implication of Muslims in false cases.

 

Gulzar Dehlvi warns that if the situation persists our nation will also be vanished like Greece, Egypt and Rome. He said the entire world is raising fingers on us. Fascist forces are assuming that no one can harm them.

 

The Urdu poet also slams the community leaders for proving themselves as hypocrites.

 

Anand Mohan Zutshi, who was born on 7 July 1926, is a prominent veteran Urdu poet, a celebrated scholar, and journalist. He was honored by the vice president of India on his 91st birthday for his invaluable contribution towards Urdu Poetry. He devoted his entire life to the service of Urdu, for which he was felicitated by various prominent personalities.
