Army recruitment racket busted in Rajasthan, Rs 1.79crores seized, 4 arrested

Jaipur: In a joint operation with the Military Intelligence Liaison Unit, Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad has busted an Army recruitment racket, seizing Rs 1.79 Crores collected in the racket.

Four persons from Jaipur and Udaipur were arrested by the ATS for their alleged involvement in the recruitment racket said the Army sources.

A case has been registered at the Special Operations Group (SOG) Police Station in Jaipur under sections 420, 406 and 120B of the IPC against and arrested the four persons namely Arjun Singh, Nand Singh Rathore, Sunil Vyas and Mahendra Singh.

Arjun Singh was arrested for allegedly promising recruitment in the Army for a price of Rs 2.5lakh during the Army Recruitment rally in Udaipur District in Rajasthan. ATS has seized the original documents of the candidates from Arjun Singh, as reported in India Today.
