Avoid posting ‘fake’ content: Amit Shah addresses BJP social media team

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah has advised the activists and supporters of the Delhi unit to avoid committing “mistake” of posting fake material on social media platforms to avoid losing credibility among the people.

In an meeting held at the NDMC convention centre, the BJP president addressing to “social media warriors” which including party workers and supporters, also asked them to highlight the achievements of the Modi government in the last four years.

“The party president asked us to avoid committing mistake of posting fake pictures, data and messages on Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms. He said such action endangers our credibility before the people,” said a participant, seeking anonymity, reported IndiaTvnews.

Shah met close to 300 activists and supporters of the party which has more than 10,000 followers on social media.
