Babri Masjid dispute: Maulana Salman Nadwi meets Sri Sri Ravi Shankar again

Lucknow: As part of an effort to reach an out-of-court settlement for Babri-masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi dispute, leader of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar met Maulana Salman Nadwi who was expelled from Muslim Personal Law Board. Following the meeting, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar told presspersons that this is a court issue and its solution can be found only when both the parties respect each other’s sentiments. Meeting with Maulana is part of the efforts. He told that earlier he met with a number of persons. He said the solution cannot be found through court, one of the parties has to accept defeat. The spiritual leader told that talks are going on between both the parties to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the country.

Ravi Shankar informed that a meeting has been called on March 28. Intellectuals of both the religions have been called in the meeting.

Earlier Sri Sri also met chief minister in Gorakhpur.
