Hyderabad: The strike launched by the employees of public sector banks protesting the merger of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank into the Bank of Baroda entered the fifth day on Wednesday.
As many as 85,000 bank employees working in the two Telugu States took part in the strike causing inconvenience to the customers. Interestingly, this is the second strike within a week. The United Forum of Bank Unions was spearheading the strike in the entire nation.
