A bear escaped from its enclosure at around 10 pm, at Nehru Zoological Park. Locals noticed the bear running on the boundary wall of the zoo park and alerted the zoo officials. The incident created panic in Bahadurpura area. Curator Nehru Zoological Park Subhadra Devi and other officials rushed to the spot and tried to tranquilise the animal.
The team succeeded in confining it to the zoo park area.
