Bengaluru top cop saluting schoolboy winning the internet

BENGALURU: A video of Bengaluru’s top cop saluting a schoolboy has been doing the rounds on social media platforms.

The candid moment of respect and discipline was captured on camera outside the Vittal Mallya Hospital in the city.

The video was shared on Facebook by Bengaluru City Police on Friday has since garnered 1,600 shares and over 92,000 views.

In the video a student of St Joseph’s Indian School is saluting Bengaluru city police commissioner T Suneel Kumar as a mark of respect.

To everyone’s surprise, T Suneel Kumar stopped in his track to give the little boy a salute as a mark of respect.

“A respect given by a uniform to a uniform shows the value of discipline,” read the caption.

“Great officer. Although ur (sic) in a dignified position, ur (sic) salute to a citizen(boy) has made me speechless. Hats off to u (sic) Sir,” wrote a person.

Another wrote, “That’s really what we would love to see in our city… Respect for each other.”

“Lots of respect to sir n yes a salute from my side too.. Extremely humble person n shows in his action too,” wrote a third.
