BJP Minority Morcha hails India-Saudi accord on Haj Pilgrims

Telangana State BJP minority morcha complimented Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukthar Abbas Naqvi, for the decisions reached between the Indian Government and the Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with facilitating the Haj Pilgrims from India.

BJP minority morcha leader and state executive member Haneef Ali said that it is very useful that both the governments agreed to open the sea route which was closed down in 1995 during the Congress regime, which considerably reduces the journey time from Mumbai to Jeddah and so also cost of travel.

He also congratulated him for getting the Haj Pilgrim quota for India increased by another 5,000 and providing separate accommodation for 1300 women pilgrims planning to go to Haj without Mehram and with the separate assistance of lady-volunteers to look after the women pilgrims.

Appreciating Modi Government for taking a bold step in Independent India in sending women for Haj pilgrimage without the assistance of Mehram and without taking draw and so also getting separate accommodation facilities to the women pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, He said that what the BJP government under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership is committed to the welfare of minorities is delivering as it promised, which is evident by the above.

He said that the Modi Government is ready to consider any good and positive suggestions for women empowerment.(NSS)
