Blasphemy against Prophet: Woman ditches Charminar police team, escapes

Hyderabad: The woman rowdy sheeter who had posted blasphemous remarks against Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) on social media ditched Charminar police team which had gone to Rajkot, Gujarat to arrest her.

According to the details, three-member Charminar police team reached Akshara Nagar, Band Gali, Rajkot (Gujarat) but they found that before its arrival Sonu alias Usha Dangar escaped from there.

Authentic sources revealed that more than 10 criminal cases are registered in various police stations against her and non-bailable warrants have been issued.

It is reported that she posted an objectionable video on social media which became viral. Muslim ulema and clerics of Hyderabad had made a massive protest demanding stern action against her. A police team consisting of Addl. Inspector of Police, Mr. Shiva Chandra, Sub-Inspector, Mr. Muzaffar and a lady constable was sent to Gujarat but it found that Sonu has escaped before its arrival. It is understood that she has taken refuge in UP.

Criminal cases have been registered against her under sections 153 A and 295 A. DCP, Mr. V. Satyanarayana told that every attempt is being made by police to arrest her. Charminar police team collected criminal records of this woman from various police stations in Rajkot.
