Hyderabad: Blue Whale Game takes another life of a BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus student.
According to the report published in India Today, a 19-year-old student, T. Varun, resident of Maple Town Villas, Gandipet committed suicide by suffocating himself.
When his parents found him dead, his face was wrapped with a plastic sheet.
It is also reported that on Saturday, his father approached the police station and informed about the suicide.

Talking on the case, Inspector of Police, Mr. V. Umender said that they suspect that he had committed suicide after accepting the challenge in Blue Whale game.
He further said that police sent laptop of the student to a forensic laboratory for analysis. Police registered a case and started investigations.
It may be mentioned that earlier, Hyderabad Cyber Crimes Police had advised the parents, education institutions and children to be careful with this game.
