Central Hajj Committee meeting held, agrees to maintain balance between TS & AP flights

Central Hajj Committee has agreed to maintain balance between Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh flights for Hajj Season 2016. In the meeting of Central Hajj Committee held in New Delhi, Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor represented the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states and told that it would be difficult for Hajj Committee to arrange 3 flights a day. Hence he suggested for a schedule of one to two flights a day.

Last year 16 flights were operated within one week due to which Hajj Committee and also pilgrims had to suffer a lot. Central Hajj Committee assured to keep it in view while prepare Hajj schedule.

It was informed in the meeting that the last date to submit Hajj applications is February 8 and there is no likelihood of further extension.
