Chada flays Karnataka Governor for acting as Center’s agent

CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that the Governor was behaving like an agent of central government and said that there was a hidden agenda behind the oath taking of Yadyurappa as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Karnataka issue has to become a lesson to all, he said and slammed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by saying that the latter was passing time in the name of Federal Front. Communalism increased in the nation, he said and claimed that BJP was draining the freedom of expression in the nation.

Speaking to the media at Giriprasad Bhavan here on Saturday, Chda said that farmers were getting very less happiness with the KCR’s Rythu Bandhu scheme and suggested KCR to implement the Rythu Bandhu scheme to Podu agriculture farmers. He warned that the CPI will wage movement in a big way if the government failed to do justice to tribals. He also asked the government to introduce several welfare schemes to help the farmers and also to purchase wet crop. He said that they will take up movement by this month end asking the government to implement Swaminathan Committee’s recommendations immediately. He said that the CPI will field its candidates in many Assembly constituencies in the 2019 elections. (NSS)
